Rob Leadbeater MCIAT

Robert was educated at Moorside High School, Werrington prior to graduation from Stoke on Trent college of Further Education in 1995 and has in excess of 23 years’ experience in private practice, 5 years of which were part time whilst undergoing his academic studies. Robert joined Wood Goldstraw Yorath in 1996, was promoted to Associate in 2006 to then an equity Partner in January 2015. Robert heads one of the Practice’s architectural teams and oversees projects through all stages of the RIBA plan of work including initial feasibility design, presentation documentation, planning development, technical design, tender documentation and on site project management through to completion and handover.

During his 23 years private practice experience he has completed projects across a wide range of sectors including, domestic, residential, ecclesiastical, conservation, commercial and educational. Over the past 10 years Robert has predominately conducted work in the commercial and educational sectors in which he specialises with project values ranging from £250,000 up to £20 million. Robert is an innovative individual with a passion for design and architectural technology with a professional approach to his work, in which he establishes close working relationships with clients through the duration of the project. Robert is conversant with the Practice’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) capabilities and is a fully chartered member of CIAT.
